We started this tumblr to discuss things in and around entertainment that we find interesting.  Which we haven’t done much of lately, so we will start posting things like this more often!

I’ve been hooked on this video and song for the last week!  At first I was taken by how beautiful she was, and that she reminds me of a 1950’s Hollywood starlet. When I first heard her voice I didn’t expect that to come out of her.  Her voice captures me in a way I haven’t been, since I was a kid listening to coldplay for the first time.  From what I’ve heard about her, she wrote the song and made the video herself.  The song itself is incredible.  The overall vibe is what first hooks me.  Then you listen to the lyrics “swinging in the backyard, pull up in your fast car, whistling my name.”  I love the way she see’s music.  She paints the picture so well, that I feel I’m there.  I think the reason I’m so intruiged by this song also, is how its melodramatic in nature, and has a hopeless romantic tone, and everyone knows I’m a fein for both!  The video clips are a great backdrop for the song, and her vignettes…, well lets just say they made me fall in love with her! It’s refreshing to hear and see real artistry for a change.   If you listen to BBC Radio 1 in the UK you might know this song.  It was just added to rotation a few weeks ago.  Hope you like the video, Let me know what you think. She has a couple EP’s out so if you like her stuff, definitely go check those out!
